Welcome to Simpson
Simpson is an independent magazine about British road cycling. Whether you're just starting out or a hardened club rider, we offer a unique insight from the very heart of cycling. Simpson is frank and has a sense of humour. It will take no prisoners but it’s also very proud of the rich heritage of British cycling.
Issue 12: The Classic Edition, we take an international perspective, interviewing Nairo Quintana and Alejandro Valverde at Movistar Team, catch up with Nicolas Roche (BMC Racing) in Monaco, and check in with contributor Augustus Farmer and his Moots Vamoots RSL dream bike. We also join Andy Storey on his commute to Prendas Ciclismo in Dorset, explore the renaissance of Balham CC and ride to Condor Cycles’ famous premises on Grays Inn Road, London to test the virtues of a semi-compact.
Simpson was conceived in 2012 - the greatest ever year for British cycling. To celebrate this success, we offer a range of limited run T-shirts and sweatshirts. 2017 saw the 50th anniversary of Tom Simpson's tragic loss - we pay homage to his memory but celebrate '67 - his greatest year with our 'Mister Tom 50' t-shirt. 'Fortune favours the brave' is our mantra for not only every time we ride but also for everyday life. There’s more to come in 2019, did we mention musettes? Stay tuned.
