Welcome to Simpson

Simpson is a new independent magazine about British road cycling. Whether you're just starting out or a hardened club rider, we offer a unique insight from the very heart of cycling. Simpson is frank and has a sense of humour. It will take no prisoners but it’s also very proud of the rich heritage of British cycling.

Issue 05

Issue five of Simpson is available. We travel to the heart of darkness on a soggy night ride to the Essex coast, we venture into the Catskill Mountains in New York State with intrepid cycling brothers Dylan and James Nord, and we nip over to Belgium to catch a Monument on a budget. We also salute the world’s best women riders as they complete their inaugural British stage race...

Simpson was conceived in 2012 - the greatest ever year for British cycling. To celebrate this success, we offer a range of limited run T-shirts, including our 'Grand Tour' edition shirts and a range of musettes. With summer now upon us both the seasons and the weather seem undecided. Why not 'cover' all eventualities with one of our all year round cotton caps.

The Launch of a Team

Last weekend saw us launch our own 'Trade Team' at Lea Valley VeloPark's Olympic velodrome in Stratford, East London, with several ride dates lined up over the next few months.

Believe in Blacker

The wearing of black kit is nothing new. There was a time when competive cyclists had to gather secretly at night in order to race on public roads. We have an awesome cycling history.
